പുത്തന്കുരിശ്: അവകാശങ്ങള് ഹനിക്കുന്നവിധം പരുമലയില് ഓര്ത്തഡോക്സ് സഭാ വിഭാഗം എടുത്ത സമീപനം മതസൗഹാര്ദത്തിന് കളങ്കമാണെന്ന് പുത്തന്കുരിശില് ചേര്ന്ന യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ വര്ക്കിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി യോഗം അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. രാജ്യത്ത് നിലനില്ക്കുന്നതായ നിയമങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിധേയമായി മാത്രമേ സഭ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുകയുള്ളൂവെന്ന് യോഗം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. വടക്കന് പ്രദേശങ്ങളില് അംഗ ബലം കുറവായിട്ടും ഓര്ത്തഡോക്സ് സഭാ വിഭാഗം പള്ളികള് പണിയുന്നതിനെ യാക്കോബായ സഭ എതിര്ത്തിട്ടില്ല. സഭയുടെ ആലുവ, മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ, തൃശൂര് അരമനകള് കൈവശപെടുത്തിയപ്പോഴും വിശ്വാസികള് സംയമനം പാലിച്ചത് ക്രൈസ്തവ വിശ്വാസത്തോടും നിയമ വാഴ്ചയോടുമുള്ള വിധേയത്ത്വം കൊണ്ടാണ്. സഭ സമാധാനമാണ് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്. അത് ബലഹീനതയായി ആരും കാണേണ്ടതില്ലെന്നും യോഗം മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കി. പുത്തന്കുരിശില് ചേര്ന്ന യോഗത്തില് ശ്രേഷ്ഠ കാതോലിക്ക ബസേലിയോസ് തോമസ് പ്രഥമന് ബാവ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു.

ബസ്സേലിയോസ് ബാവയുടെ ഓര്മപ്പെടരുന്നാളിന് കൊടിയേറ്റി
കോതമംഗലം: ചരിത്രസത്യങ്ങള് ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്ന പുഴത്തീരത്തെ ചക്കാലക്കുടിയില് നിന്ന് വിശ്വാസികളും പുരോഹിതരും പ്രദക്ഷിണമായെത്തി കോതമംഗലം മര്ത്തോമന് ചെറിയപള്ളി പെരുന്നാളിന് കൊടിയേറ്റി.
325 വര്ഷം മുമ്പ് കടലുകള് താണ്ടി മലങ്കരയിലെത്തി വനാന്തരങ്ങളിലൂടെ എല്ദോ മാര് ബസ്സേലിയോസ് ബാവ കാല്നടയായി കോതമംഗലം പുഴത്തീരത്തെത്തിയപ്പോള് വിശ്രമിച്ചത് ചക്കാലക്കുടിയിലായിരുന്നു. ആ ഓര്മ പുതുക്കാനാണ് ചക്കാലക്കുടിയില് പണിത കുരിശുപള്ളിയില് കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് ബാവയുടെ ഓര്മപ്പെരുന്നാളിന് പ്രദക്ഷിണമായി വന്ന് ചെറിയപള്ളി മുറ്റത്ത് കൊടിയേറ്റിയത്.

Cheriyapally festival on October 2 and 3
Bawa is the Patron Saint of Kothamangalam and Mar Thoma Cheriyapally is the source of eternal light of this place.
The people of this land share everything with the church. During the festival, devotees offer to their Church the fruits of their labour as well as a share of the money that they earn. They believe all their gains are due to the blessings of Bawa and they faithfully offer to Bawa a share of the fruits of their hard work.The Kanni 20 Perunnal is an auspicious time to pay homage to Bawa. It is a popular feast and hence the best time to be here is early October when the Festival is held to commemorate Bawa. This brings devotees from near and far for a great religious and cultural meet. It also provides a social occasion to invite close families and friends to share moments of joy and love. The State Government also have been cooperative always by extending to the church help in managing travel facilities, security arrangements and by declaring a local holiday during the festival.
People come to this Church all throughout the year. Devotees are well taken care of by the Church Managing committee. Free food and accommodation are provided to the devotees. The pleasure and pain are shared by every home here and Bawa of Cheriyapally. This makes the place a hallowed ground of holiness for devotees and pilgrims.

കൊച്ചി: താന് വാഴിച്ച മലയാളി മെത്രാനെ വിവാദ ജര്മന് മെത്രാന് മൂസാ ഗൂര്ഗാന് സേവേറിയോസ് താല്കാലികമായി പുറത്താക്കി.തന്റെ പുതിയ സഭയുടെ നിരണം, കൊല്ലം, തുമ്പമണ് ഭദ്രാസനങ്ങളുടെ സഹായ മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത മാത്യൂസ് ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസിനെയാണ് സസ്പെന്ഡ് ചെയ്തത്. നാലുമാസം മുമ്പ് ഡല്ഹിയിലാണ് മലങ്കര ഓര്ത്തഡോക്സ് സഭാംഗമായിരുന്ന ഫാ. സി.ജെ. മാത്യൂസിനെ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസ് എന്നപേരില് മെത്രാനായി വാഴിച്ചത്.

Malankara Syriac VoiceHis Beatitude inaugurated the official website of Kattachira Church, http://KattachiraPally.org in a function held in the chapel, in the presence of Metropolitans Mor Theodosius Mathews and Mor Philoxenos Zacharias, after Holy Qurbono. The website is a combined work of Nibu John Chennithala and Chev. Thomas Daniel (Reji), designed by former. His Beatitude revealed the magazine, Sugandha Vahini by giving the first copy to Mor Theodosius. Thousands of faithful attended Holy Qurbono today at Kattachira Church. Metropolitan Mor Philoxenos Zacharias led the retreat by Thoothootty Mor Gregorian Centre in the evening.

മണര്കാട്: മണര്കാട് മര്ത്തമറിയം യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി കത്തീഡ്രലിലെ എട്ടുനോമ്പ് പെരുനാളിന്റെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള പൊതുസമ്മേളനം ഞായറാഴ്ച രണ്ടുമണിക്ക് നടക്കും. കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി അംബികാ സോണി മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തും. യാക്കോബായ സഭയുടെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ കാതോലിക്ക മോര് ബസേലിയോസ് തോമസ് പ്രഥമന് ബാവാ സമ്മേളനം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. മന്ത്രി വി. സുരേന്ദ്രന്പിള്ള, പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് ഉമ്മന്ചാണ്ടി വി.എന്. വാസവന് എം.എല്.എ. തുടങ്ങിയവര് പങ്കെടുക്കും. എട്ടുനോമ്പാചരണത്തിന്റെ നാലാം ദിവസമായ ശനിയാഴ്ച പള്ളിയും പരിസരങ്ങളും വിശ്വാസികളെക്കൊണ്ട് നിറഞ്ഞുകവിഞ്ഞു. രാവിലെ കരോട്ടെ പള്ളിയിലെ വിശുദ്ധ കുര്ബ്ബാനയ്ക്കുശേഷം വലിയപള്ളിയില് നടന്ന മൂന്നിന്മേല് കുര്ബ്ബാനയില് മലബാര് ഭദ്രാസനാധിപന് സഖറിയാസ് മാര് പീലക്സിനോസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്താ പ്രധാന കാര്മ്മികത്വം വഹിച്ചു.
