GENEVA:Dr. Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Metropolitan of Niranam Diocese attended a Preparatory Meeting on New Financial and Economic Architecture, jointly organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC), the Council for World Mission (CWM) and the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC). Dr. Mor Coorilos was invited to represent the WCC in the meeting which was held at John Knox Centre, Geneva from 11-14 December 2011. Dr. Coorilos presented a paper on "Ethical Deficits in the Current Financial and Economic Architecture". The meeting was attended by 15 selected theologians, ethicists, economists and church leaders, representing the three organizations. The meeting also made plans for a Global Conference on the same theme to be held in October 2012 in Brazil.
