LIVERPOOL: The United Kingdom (U.K) Regional Council of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church was held at St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Liverpool on Nov 10th. The Patiarchal Vicar for U. K, H G Mor Aphrem Mathews presided over.
The Council report for the last year was read and the programmes for the next year were charted out during the Council. The regional council for the next year was also elected. Rev. Cheruvallil Raju Qasheesho was re-elected as the Diocesan Secretary. Shri. Jacob Koshy of the Manchester Parish was elected as the Treasurer & Rev. Valayil Siby Qasheesho was elected as the Priest Secretary.
